Why We're Here

Life today is busy and complex.  Time is at a premium with many things commanding our attention.  It is Jesus who can make a difference in your journey through life.  At Redeemer Alliance we believe that our mission is “To glorify God by loving people, leading them to faith in Jesus Christ and equipping them to become mature followers of Him”.  As a church it is our responsibility to provide an opportunity where everyone can become a mature follower of Jesus Christ.   While we feel the church needs to be personable, enjoyable, encouraging and a place with great social relations, it is a relationship with Jesus that will make this meaningful.   Redeemer has structured our ministries around the following pillars.

Opportunity to Experience Faith

As individuals we all have our own set of baggage that comes from various sources, some from our surroundings, some from relationships but the most disturbing is the inner failures and brokenness that God calls sin.  It is this inner sin that separates us from God and keeps us out of eternity with God.  The only solution to this internal brokenness and separation from God is Jesus Christ.  As a church, Redeemer Alliance teaches Christ as the only substitute and solution for sin.  It is through personal confession of sin and invitation of Christ into one’s life that one can be forgiven and know true relationship with God.  Redeemer seeks to present Christ the hope for true faith.

Opportunity to Grow through Learning

As individuals we begin a journey with God knowing very little about what God expects or what God values.  At Redeemer we put a strong focus on the study of Scripture and the understanding of what God wants us to know.  The Worship Service is a key teaching time when we turn our attention to the scripture.  It is our goal to create mature believers by providing Bible-based programs and clear teaching about faith and practice.  In the journey of faith - baptism, prayer, communion and worship are ways we not only learn about faith but we provide opportunity to express commitment to the teachings of Christ.  Each of the ministries in Redeemer seeks to have a Bible focus that gives opportunity to move forward in a deeper commitment to Christ.

Opportunity to Love through Relationship

As your friends, we at Redeemer believe that the Christian life should develop relationships with others.  We believe the family is a place that is designed for nurture and spiritual development; likewise the church should be a place where individuals can build friendships, enjoy social functions together and care for one another through interaction.  Relationship is one of the pillars of following Christ.  Relationship begins first with Christ, as stated in the Great Commandment “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” Matt. 22:37 and the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself” Matt. 22:39.  Our Worship service, Women’s Ministries, Men’s Ministries, Children’s Ministries and Youth Ministries all seek to provide interaction and opportunity to develop character and good social relationships.  We believe that to follow Christ one needs to be a whole person spiritually and socially.  In a world that is bombarded by the shallowness of media interaction we strive to build solid families and relationships.

Opportunity to Serve through Mission

Involvement is acknowledgement of the value of a particular activity or organization.  At Redeemer we seek to provide opportunity to participate in the Church’s Mission “To Glorify God”.  Involvement will be expressed in a variety of ways: giving, teaching, serving on committees, serving in the community or participating in Mission trips.  Service is part of the church DNA because it expresses The Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matt:28:19-20.  It is service that allows volunteers to express their faith and to show how they follow God.
