Bible Study and Prayer
Wednesdays, 7:00 PM
At Redeemer Alliance Church
There are numerous activities to help adults start or continue their walk in faith. From weekly prayer and bible study, to senior womens' fitness classes, the adult ministries at Redeemer provide something for men, women, and couples.
Adult Ministries
Wednesday bible study and prayer is a meeting of a group of committed Christians to study God's word and bring thanksgiving and issues to God in prayer. Led by Pastor Garry, this meeting is open to anyone who wants to explore the bible and grow closer to God.
This fitness class is for senior women, 50+, to achieve or maintain their fitness goals. Led by a certified Seniors Fitness instructor, the class moves at a pace that accommodates a variety of fitness levels.
And the best part? The music doesn't blast into your ears!
Many of the adults in the church are part of a small group. The purpose of small groups is three-fold:
-
Study and discuss that week's bible lesson from the study guide, in advance of the Sunday sermon which will deal with the same bible passage
-
Provide spiritual, moral and prayer support to ther members of the small group
-
Get to know each other better over time, leading to more insightful and in-depth discussions.
Small group members provide prayer support to each other, and by getting to know each other well, build real relationships that go far beyond the casual "good morning, how are you". As group members get to know each other, discussions become more open and explore personal and faith situations with more depth, all built around the study of God's word. To be part of a small group, contact the office.

Alpha Course
January 13 to April 14, 2015
Tuesdays, 6:30 PM
At Redeemer Alliance Church

The Alpha course is your opportunity to explore the Christian faith. No question is too simple, too tough or too out there.
You can expect relevant topics, relatable hosts, and a relaxed environment. Each session begins with a meal or refreshments, providing an opportunity to get to know others in a casual setting. This is followed by a short talk, which examines a different aspect of the Christian faith, then open discussion.
Some of the questions we’ll explore are: How Does God Guide Us? Who is Jesus? Why and how do I pray? How can I develop a relationship with God? What about the Church? Is there more to life than this?
Who is this for? Everyone. Join us.

Ladies Bible Study

The study leader chooses one of the guides from the Women of Faith series as the basis for the study and discussion every week. This is an informal and very rewarding format to discuss God's word. Please join us; everyone (women, that is) is welcome.

Anytime.
Anywhere.
Anyone with a prayer request can contact Redeemer's Prayer Chain. The leader of the prayer chain will contact the rest of the chain with the prayer request. The prayer chain will take the request to God .
Once a month the 50+ people from our church go out for dinner. The location varies, and could be just down the street or a couple of hours drive away. This is a fun evening, where individuals "of a certain age" can enjoy themselves with people their own age.
